Moisture Retention
Wool holds up to 30% of its weight in water, reducing irrigation demand.
Soil Temperature
Natural insulation stabilises root-zone temperature through summer & winter.
Biodegradation
Breaks down into the soil, releasing nitrogen and sulphur, no removal cost.
100% NZ Made
Ongoing project support - installation guidance and reorder simplicity.
Wool Erosion Control Matting for Banks and Revegetation
Wool mulch mats and rolls help hold soil in place on garden banks, riparian margins and revegetation plantings while new plants establish. The dense wool layer keeps moisture in the soil and breaks down over time, so there is no plastic netting to remove later. Pair the mats with EmGuard plant protectors for riparian planting. For steep or engineered slopes, send us your project details and we will recommend the right product and quantities.
